JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a dynamic Channel Partner Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships in the Point of Sale (POS) industry. This role will focus on identifying, recruiting, and managing resellers, distributors, and system integrators to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel sales, partner enablement, and indirect sales strategies within the POS ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Channel Partner Development & Management:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-value resellers, distributors, and VARs for POS solutions.
- Develop and execute channel partner programs to enhance engagement and sales performance.
- Foster strong relationships with partners to ensure strategic alignment and long-term success.
- Provide training, sales enablement, and ongoing support to maximize partner effectiveness.
- Co-develop go-to-market strategies and business plans with partners to drive sales.
POS Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Lead partners to achieve aggressive sales targets and market expansion goals.
- Support partners in lead generation, deal structuring, and closing sales.
- Analyze partner sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop partner-specific campaigns, promotions, and incentives.
- Work closely with internal sales teams to align direct and indirect sales efforts.
Market & Product Expertise:
- Stay ahead of POS industry trends, competitor strategies, and evolving customer needs.
- Train partners on POS product features, pricing models, and competitive positioning.
- Gather market feedback from partners and relay insights to product and engineering teams.
Operational & Strategic Execution:
- Develop and manage partner incentive programs, pricing structures, and commission models.
- Ensure partner compliance with company policies, SLAs, and contractual agreements.
- Provide guidance and problem-solving support for technical, operational, or sales challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related fields (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development within the POS industry.
- Strong understanding of POS hardware, software, SaaS solutions, and cloud-based POS systems.
- Experience managing resellers, distributors, and system integrators in the retail or hospitality sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and drive revenue growth.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of retail, hospitality, and multi-location business operations.
