Overview

We are currently seeking a Remote Medical Billing & Collector for a medical clinic in New York. This is a fully remote, full-time position.

Please note that candidates will be required to complete training with the manager.

Responsibilities
  • Submit insurance claims and verify patient eligibility and coverage.
  • Generate and send patient invoices and pursue unpaid claims and denials.
  • Collect overdue patient balances and resolve billing disputes with patients and payers.
  • Maintain accurate patient and billing records that comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure accurate payments.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in English; other languages are advantageous.
  • Previous experience as a medical collector for at least 3 years in a USA company.
  • Excellent telephone communication skills.
  • High level of customer service expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to handle challenging customers.
Working hours

9:00 am to 5:00 pm New York time, Monday to Friday.
