We are hiring an experienced IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide our client technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users. You will be responsible for supporting computer, network and telecommunications operations and procedures primarily for field staff. You will work within a team environment to facilitate user interface with the computers, peripheral equipment, VoIP telephone system, networks and other IT Equipment.

This position is contingent on the award of the project.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Provide first-level IT support via phone, email, or in person.
  2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
  4. Assist with user account management, password resets, and system access.
  5. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  6. Document technical issues, solutions, and user requests.
  7. Educate users on best practices for IT security and system usage.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Must have experience working with computer management software for antivirus, patching and software updates, specifically LANDesk.
  3. Solid understanding of TCP/IP stack and IP networking foundations.
  4. 5+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience.
  5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  6. Experience with Windows, macOS, and basic networking concepts.
  7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  8. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certifications are a plus.
