Technical Operations Specialist Responsibilities- Helpdesk End User Support
- Provide remote helpdesk support to affiliate employees, supporting platforms such as:
- Microsoft Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS
- Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and others
- Remote Desktop support using Connectwise Automate
- Endpoint security with SentinelOne
- Proofpoint, Adobe, all major browsers, and other applications
- Network Support
- Assist with network maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and upgrades across all facilities and affiliates, including:
- Supporting Fortinet Fortigate Gateways and high availability setups
- Managing Microsoft 365 Entra, Intune, Exchange Online, Pureview
- Supporting Microsoft Azure servers
- Migrating to new network platforms as needed
- Pre-Sales Support
- Assist pre-sales engineering, sales teams, and customers
- Design Wi-Fi coverage heat maps using tools like Ekahau
- Generate sample BOM lists with the pre-sales engineering team
- Post-Sales Support
- Support Mikrotik products for customers post-purchase
- Support other products as needed
- Monitor and manage RMA requests, create RMAs and VRAs
- Administrative Tasks in the Technical Operations Department
- Monitor user and customer requests via Connectwise Automate and shared inbox
- Assist with process documentation for users, networks, RMA, and support procedures
- Support AI training and validation
- Document departmental procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
- Proven experience in an IT Helpdesk or technical support role
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred
