The Paralegal -Legal & Compliance is responsible for coordinating all corporate housekeeping activities and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations related to corporate housekeeping. The position shall involve collation of documents from various internal stakeholders, submission of corporate documents in relation to compliance requirements of ARI Corp and ARI BUs, and monitoring of deadlines for compliance. The position shall also involve legal research, safekeeping of corporate documents, drafting of legal agreements, and such other tasks as may be assigned by the Team Leader.
The position holder contributes to the implementation of legal strategies, and the smooth operation of all day-to-day activities of the Legal and Compliance Team of SRRL.

- Assistsincoordinationwithexternalcounselforlegalandcomplianceissues
- Implementsstrategiesoncompliancemonitoringandaudit,toensurethatallpermits/contracts/agreements/complianceissuesarepropertytrackedandtimelycompliedwithforallARIBUs
- Draftscontracts,legalopinions,agreementsandotherlegaldocumentsasneeded,forthereviewoftheTeamLeaders
- Stayscurrentonrelevantindustryandgovernmentcomplianceprogramsrelatedtorenewableenergyandprovidesupdatesregardingchangesinlegislation,regulationsandotherrequirementsthatmayresultinorganizationalresponse.
- AttendspublicconsultationswithrelevantexternalstakeholderstorepresentARIinterests,asmayberequiredbyTeamLeaders
- Facilitatestimelycompletionofcompliancemattersbycoordinatingwithrelevantinternalteamsforsubmissions.
- Ensuresregularcoordinationoflegalandcomplianceissueswithidentifiedstakeholderstoensureopencommunicationlines
- Ensuresandimplementsproperfilingoflegaldocuments,compliancesandpermitsundertheguidanceofTeamLeaders
- RegularlyreportsprogressofalllegalandcomplianceissuestoTeamLeaders.
- Coordinateswithotherinternaldepartmentsforthenecessaryinformationorassistancerequiredforthetimelysubmissionofalllegalandcompliancerequirements

- With1–3yearsofexperienceasaparalegal,legalassistant,orinotherlaw-relatedwork
- Exposuretogovernmentagencies,particularlyintheenergysector(e.g.,NCIP,DENR,LGUs,DOE,ERC,NGCP),isanadvantage
