Events Officer

Professional Qualities:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or any other related field.
- With at least two (2) years experience in Event Management.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Eye for color and design.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment and to multitask.
- Highly organized and able to adhere to deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel and work on weekends and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determines event costs and prepare budgetary recommendations.
- Negotiates agreements with third party suppliers and subcontractors to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service.
- Works closely with internal and external event planning committees and client groups to define event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the organizations brand.
- Sources venues and recommend and engage in catering, acquire supporting technology and coordinate development of materials to execute a quality event.
- Supervises, directs and coordinates the activities of personnel, subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully executed all aspects of the event on the scheduled delivery day.
- Performs tasks related to the planning, monitoring and supervision of events.
- Provides post-event analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback and incorporate learning into future plans.
- Reviews and facilitates payments for event-related suppliers.
- Oversee event budgets, timelines, ordering, and logistics.
