Position Overview
Based at our Taguig Office, we are currently seeking a Human Resources Director who will be responsible for Puratos Philippines operation and management.
HR Director
As a member of the country management team, the HR Director assumes multiple roles of strategic partner, coach, change agent, and employee advocate.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director Philippines and functionally to the APMEA HR Director, the successful candidate will manage operations for a team of 80 employees and an HR team of 2, responsible for the following core responsibilities: company culture, workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, talent management, learning & development, employee relations, HR information system, policy implementation, employment law compliance, and general administration.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring preparation, development, and implementation of local HR policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Effectively implementing all Human Resources processes by Group and Regional Human Resources and communicating with employees.
- Determining headcount planning strategy and requirements with line managers.
- Deciding on selection methods, resources, interview panel during the recruitment process.
- Ensuring data accuracy on the relevant system and following up on necessary updates.
- Preparing annual employee and human resources department budget and following up on realization.
- Implementing global onboarding program and coordinating local orientation processes.
- Leading training needs analysis process and preparing yearly training plan.
- Coaching managers and employees on career management issues.
- Monitoring employee engagement process and implementing remedial actions.
- Managing the Performance Evaluation process and ensuring its completion.
- Managing the dismissal processes and coordinating with line managers.
- Monitoring KPIs assigned by Region or Global for Human Resources processes.
- Preparing and implementing annual internal communication and activity plans.
- Involvement in ad hoc projects as assigned.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of people management experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing company.
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in HR management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and employment laws.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Good command of MS Office applications, SAP HR or SuccessFactors experience.
- Ability to provide vision, direction, and guidance to the HR team.
- Capacity to align HR initiatives with overall business goals.
- Capability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions.
- Conflict Resolution and Employee Relations skills.
- Willingness to explore new ideas and implement innovative HR practices.
