We’re Hiring: Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric Data Lakehouse (Onsite)

We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to architect and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines for the company’s Microsoft Fabric-based data lakehouse
  • Ingest and transform data from SAP IS-U, SCADA systems, IoT sensors, and customer service platforms
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, analysts, and scientists to deliver secure, compliant, and high-performing data infrastructure
  • Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and other Azure tools
  • Integrate and optimize operational datasets across the lakehouse with a focus on cost-efficiency and scalability
  • Align data architecture with Philippine privacy regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act, MWSS, LWUA)
  • Enable seamless Power BI reporting and analytics across business units
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive excellence in development standards and DevOps processes
  • Automate workflows with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM Templates)
  • Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Fabric advancements to continually improve lakehouse operations

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Azure
    • Microsoft Fabric
    • Azure Data Lake
    • Azure Synapse Analytics
    • Power BI
    • Azure Data Factory
  • Experience in working with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
    • Azure Databricks
    • SQL Server
    • Python
    • Scala
  • Experience in Python
  • Experience in Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks
    • Apache Flink
    • Apache Beam
    • Google Cloud Dataflow
    • Dask
  • Experience in machine learning or AI integrations
  • Experience in SSIS and SSAS

Bonus Points For

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar Azure certifications

Work Schedule

  • 8 AM – 5 PM Philippine Time (Onsite)
