What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and optimize data workflows from acquisition to publishing.
  • Develop applications that consume data from lakes and warehouses for analytics and visualization.
  • Architect and maintain big data platforms (Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Presto).
  • Ensure data quality—accuracy, completeness, and timeliness—aligned with PLDT Group standards.
  • Collaborate with business users, data stewards, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
  • Manage daily operations of scheduled jobs and enforce system reliability against OLAs.
  • Lead troubleshooting, patching, and escalation efforts to meet SLAs.
  • Support upgrades and migrations to keep technology current.
  • Conduct code reviews and recommend performance optimizations.
  • Document solution designs and technical architectures.
