Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Selling Supervisor to lead daily sales floor operations in our supermarket. This role is ideal for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree and retail experience, who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities. You will be responsible for supervising the sales team, enhancing customer satisfaction, driving sales performance, and ensuring efficient execution of merchandising and store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support daily selling floor operations, ensuring smooth execution of sales activities.

  • Lead, motivate, and coach sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and quick resolution of issues.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of in-store promotions, displays, and product placements.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate shelf tagging, pricing, and product rotation (FIFO).

  • Coordinate with stock/inventory teams to manage product replenishment and availability.

  • Monitor sales reports and suggest strategies for improvement to management.

  • Help train and onboard new team members in sales techniques and store policies.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred (can include internships or student leadership roles).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of basic retail metrics (e.g., sales per square foot, conversion rates, UPT).

  • Familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
