Job Description

Growsari is helping to build the future of Sari Sari stores in the Philippines. Sari Sari stores are the largest retail channel and source of employment in the country, yet the average store owner barely makes her ends meet. We use technology to help them increase their earnings through four ways: Get cheaper sourcing of products by connecting them directly to companies (getting them access to better pricing and free delivery to their stores); Access new types of products to sell within their store (higher earning revenue streams such as bayad centers, e-commerce drop off points, wi-fi hotspots, store branding etc); Access to financial services (give them access to working capital, consignment and other types of financial services that could help them grow, but they are currently excluded from); Help them monetize their data (get companies to pay for real-time access to sales data and ability to act on it on a per-store level - think the next generation of Nielsen Answers).

Now we are looking for the next wave of talent to join and push this vision further. What you’ll do:

Responsibilities
  • Fulfillment Supervisor handles the daily pick pack operations of the warehouse. Main responsibility is to ensure day to day operations are smooth and that all orders are processed accurately and completely, in preparation for delivery. Manages 2 Team Leads and dozens of staff, and reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
  • Fulfillment Operations: Monitors pick pack operations and ensures quality of output; resolves day-to-day operational issues; implements all SOPs in daily fulfillment operations; delegates and plans the PSP staff’s tasks as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Recommends systematic planning of replenishment with the RSC Inventory Personnel, ensuring adequate stocking; SKU rationalization including non-performing SKUs for suggestive selling or deletion; initiates cycle counts and inventory activities; performs stock corrections for approval by the Warehouse Operations Manager; accountable for all inventory-related activities handled by the Inventory Supervisor.
  • People Management: Monitors daily schedule and attendance; supervises, trains, and motivates all personnel in the fulfillment operations; enforces sanctions/disciplinary action for violations; ensures complete deployment of manpower needed.
  • Admin/Reportorial Requirements: Prepares reports on OOS, pick-pack issues, and other reports related to fulfillment operations; facilitates POS transactions before dispatch and after returns.
