STO Global Fast Express PH Group Corporation On-site - Bulacan 1-3 Yrs Exp Bachelor Full-time Job Description Employee Recognition and Rewards Government Mandated Benefits Insurance Health & Wellness ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST Responsible for processing and managing outgoing payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role ensures smooth payment transactions for transportation providers, vendors, warehouse services, equipment leases, fuel charges , and more. The specialist maintains strong vendor relationships, monitors invoice compliance, and contributes to accurate financial reporting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Process supplier invoices for goods and services ensuring proper documentation and approvals. Review and verify expense reports, fuel charges, freight bills, subcontractor invoices , and all employee liquidations and reimbursements . Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors while taking advantage of early payment discounts when applicable. Ensure smooth and timely employee reimbursements and requests for payment to maintain cash flow and prevent operational disruptions. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues. Maintain vendor master data in the ERP system. Assist in month-end and year-end closings by providing accounts payable schedules and accruals. Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., VAT, withholding tax) and company policies . Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams for invoice validation. Support internal and external audit requirements related to payables. Execute such other tasks as may be assigned by the Immediate Head and/or management . QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND TRAINING REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration , or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting , preferably in the logistics or transportation industry (Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply). Experience using ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online). Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and workflows . High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy . Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WPS Office . Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of tax compliance (e.g., VAT, EWT) is a plus. Can work under pressure . Working Location If the position requires you to work overseas, please be vigilant and beware of fraud.
