Title: RF Engineer Location: Philippines – BGC (Amdocs Site) Job Summary: Manages and leads RF engineering development and implementation projects. Responsible for technical aspects as well as for the growth and development of the team. Responsibilities Responsible for complete Project Management & drive the lifecycle of a project. Estimate work and be a focal point for delivering on tasks and raise potential scope issues to the team. Own the progress, predict risks (Quality, timeline and budget) and take vital mitigations required to meet critical metrics, prioritizing activities for self, team, and external stakeholders. People Management: attract, develop and retain talent; build and maintain strong, effective teams and enhance their knowledge. Structure the group for maximum efficiency. Accountable for meeting quality objectives; ensure the team follows best RF engineering practices, quality processes and methodologies. Lead continuous improvement via Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learnt and Prevention processes. Promote clarity and alignment by communicating effectively to the project team on unit goals and status, project matters, companywide changes and special initiative status. Drive a culture of continuous improvements/efficiencies to RF engineering and business processes, exploring new engineering tools and innovation techniques. Lead partner relationship and communication to ensure project delivery meets customer requirements and adds value to the business. Advocate and work with project teams to understand the need for change; plan, communicate and execute desired changes. Qualifications M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with five years of relevant experience; or B.Sc. in CS, MIS, Engineering or equivalent with nine years of proven experience. Independent judgment, evaluation and application of techniques and procedures to complex problems. Ability to undertake complex network performance improvement tasks and lead a team of engineers. Significant proficiency / in-depth knowledge of RF technology and products. Previous experience in leading tasks or mentoring engineers. Experience in RF wireless design engineering for a telecommunications system. Working experience on at least one of the following equipment manufacturers: Ericsson, Nortel, Nokia, Siemens, Motorola, Alcatel Lucent, or Huawei.
