About the Role – Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist

The Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing and benefits administration for PH Core. This includes ensuring accurate salary runs, government contributions, tax filings, final pay processing, and maintaining strict compliance with labor and regulatory requirements. The role will also support employee benefits administration and partner closely with HR and Finance to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as payroll maker for PH Core, consolidating and finalizing semi-monthly payroll runs.
  • Process normal salary, incentive pay, ad-hoc payments, and adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Prepare and file government tax returns (BIR).
  • Handle offboarding payroll, including final pay and clearance.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records with strict confidentiality and compliance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a payroll specialist in the Philippines.
  • Strong knowledge of government-mandated benefits and payroll regulations.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems; experience with Sprout is a strong advantage.
  • Some experience in project management is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
