DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Bookkeeper, you will take on a pivotal role in executing complex, full‑cycle bookkeeping for high‑growth e‑commerce businesses. Your expertise will ensure the financials of our clients are accurately represented and provide the foundation for their continued success. Support a controller in month end, quarter end and year end close cycles for multiple e‑commerce clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial records. Oversee and execute bank and credit card reconciliations, manage sales accruals, and calculate cost of goods sold (COGS). Execute inventory adjustments, ensuring all records align with actual stock. Liaise with clients to resolve accounting questions and ad‑hoc queries and requests, ensuring your team has timely access to the information they need. Make accruals, journal entries, and necessary adjustments to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS CPA designation (strongly preferred) 2–5 years of U.S. bookkeeping experience (multi‑client environment required) At least 3 years of experience working with U.S.-based clients At least 1 year of remote work experience Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; ProAdvisor Certification preferred Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, A2X) Strong understanding of inventory management and COGS Detail‑oriented, accurate, and deadline‑driven Excellent English communication skills (written and asynchronous) Knowledge of GAAP standard Experience with onboarding new clients is a nice to have Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred but not required ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Own equipment; with updated windows and processor Dedicated workspace free from distraction for completing work related tasks Stable, high‑performance internet DESCRIPTION OF IDEAL CANDIDATE Highly Accountable - You take full ownership of your responsibilities and actions.
