Duties and Responsibilities Process, verify, and record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger. Review and reconcile balance sheets, income statements, and financial statements. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and summaries for management. Conduct variance analysis and explain fluctuations in financial results compared to budgets and forecasts. Support the preparation of financial statements and coordinate with external auditors. Assist in product costing and monitor cost-related data, identifying cost-saving opportunities. Reconcile inventory accounts and work closely with the inventory team to ensure accurate valuation. Provide cost analysis to aid in budgeting and forecasting. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies. Maintain internal controls and support process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency. Assist in audits, preparing necessary documentation and answering inquiries from auditors. Guide and mentor junior accounting staff, assisting with their development and training. Review the work of team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles. Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional tasks and projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field; CPA is a plus. At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software and advanced in MS Excel.
