Toyota Motor Philippines seeks a Repair Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for complex vehicle diagnostics within its dealer network.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing repair support to dealers for vehicle hard to diagnose cases.
  • Creating Technical Reports for assisted cases and Field Evaluation Reports for safety-related cases.
  • Coordinating with Toyota Internal Affiliates regarding Customer Handling and Marketing activities.
  • Collaborating with Toyota Regional Affiliates and Dealer Network for repair support activities.
  • Facilitating serviceability Kaizen requests to Regional affiliates as part of market concern improvement.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge in automotive repair and diagnosis.
  • Valid Philippines Driver's License.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships.
  • Technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas, keeping up with current developments and trends.
  • Effective communication skills to clearly convey information and ideas through various media.
  • Strong time and resource management skills to ensure efficient work completion.
  • Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition and handle stress acceptably.
  • Technical report writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Office, Forms, Outlook, Presentations).
  • Knowledge in SAP application and Vehicle Diagnostic Software is an advantage.
