Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a leading global producer of industrial minerals in their search for a Production Packaging Engineer based in Cavite.

Your Responsibilities:

• Shift Management: They determine the plant\'s status at the start and end of each shift by gathering production and operational data. This includes confirming the status of ongoing work and communicating any abnormalities or unresolved problems to the next shift or higher management.
• Planning & Control: The supervisor manages dispatch planning by scheduling manpower and materials, ensuring there\'s a sufficient supply of bags and product. They guarantee adherence to the planned electrical power consumption and closely monitor throughput against targets. If production falls below the target, they are responsible for identifying the cause and taking corrective action.
• Equipment & Troubleshooting: A critical part of the role is the proper utilization and troubleshooting of the roto-packing machine and other packaging equipment. They are expected to identify and fix minor issues, but also know when to request assistance from the maintenance team.
• Optimization: The supervisor continuously reviews packaging operations to identify opportunities for optimizing both manpower and product storage. They compare real-time data with targets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

• Team Leadership: The supervisor analyzes information to identify the root causes of problems and takes appropriate actions. This involves estimating the time and resources needed for corrective actions and prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
• Subcontractor Oversight: They manage subcontractors from dealing with initial specifications to supervision, follow-up, and the final closing process.

• Documentation: The supervisor is responsible for completing all required documentation promptly and accurately, including shift reports where they record any abnormalities.
• Data Accuracy: They ensure accurate data input into the SAP system for finished goods inventory and Bill of Materials (BOM), and summarize production information for relevant personnel.
• Quality & Safety Checks: The role includes conducting regular Walkby inspections using a checklist to ensure the packaging area is operating safely and effectively. They also interface with the lab staff to obtain accurate data on product quality.

What we're looking for:

• Must be a Graduate of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering
• Must have at least a minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in production set-up
• Must know mechanical parts and equipment
• Must know how to use Human Machine Interface (HMI) and parameter setting
• Must have knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment
• Must have knowledge of the inspection process
• Must have experience in operation of big machines and heavy equipment
• Must be computer literate
• Experienced in people handling
• Can work on flexible hours
• Good knowledge of health &safety
• Packaging using automatic rotating machines is an added advantage
