We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Healthcare account team. As a CSR, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and insurance companies, providing accurate information and support regarding healthcare services, billing, and medical coverage. Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient inquiries, insurance claims, billing, and healthcare services Provide accurate and timely information regarding benefits, eligibility, and claims status Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of empathy and professionalism Document call interactions and updates in the system following data privacy guidelines Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal departments to resolve complex issues Uphold HIPAA compliance and ensure confidentiality of sensitive health information Meet or exceed performance metrics such as call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or insurance-related environment Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare plans, and insurance processes is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Empathetic, patient, and professional when handling sensitive health-related concerns Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using CRM systems, call center software, and Microsoft Office applications Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and healthcare compliance standards is an advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
