Associate Director of Finance – Manages financial planning and operations to support decision-making and financial objectives. Responsibilities Support to Top Management: Analyze and present financial reports and findings to top management to support decision-making and achievement of financial objectives. Strategic and Financial Planning: Assist in the execution of business and financial plans, evaluate investment opportunities or special projects, and make recommendations. Advisory and Decision-Making Support: Advise top management on operating and financial issues and advocate sound financial and business decision-making. Finance Operations: Oversee accounting functions, conduct financial analysis, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and preparing financial forecasts; provide timely, accurate financial reports and cost/budget analyses. Financial Reporting: Analyze and prepare reports on financial results for the Board of Directors. Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with audit, accounting and regulatory standards; maintain and improve internal controls; coordinate internal and external audits. Credit and Collection: Oversee credit and collection activities; implement policies and action plans to meet collection targets; provide regular AR and collection performance updates. Cash Management and Disbursements: Manage cash flow to meet operational needs; maximize funds; maintain banking relationships; ensure proper documentation of expenses and AP disbursements. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws; timely payment of taxes; monitor updates on tax policies and relevant rulings. Systems and Process Improvement: Document and implement improvements in financial policies/procedures; assess and recommend ERP/financial software for the organization. People Management and Collaboration: Cascade goals, train/supervise staff, evaluate performance, model company values, and collaborate with other departments to support decision-making. Minimum Qualifications Education: Degree in Accountancy; CPA required; Master’s degree is a plus. Work Experience: More than five (5) years in a managerial position across industries. Competencies and Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; deep financial acumen; knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, risk management.
