Job Description As a Finance and Accounting Manager , you’ll oversee the full spectrum of financial operations – from bookkeeping and payroll to forecasting and compliance – across multiple entities. You’ll guide a team, ensure data accuracy, and drive strategic insights that fuel growth in a dynamic, multi‑entity environment. We Seek Minimum 5‑7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or business administration, preferably across multi‑entity or financial‑services environments Strong proficiency in Xero and familiarity with integrated systems (e.g. Zoho CRM, payment gateways) Demonstrated experience in Australian financial reporting, payroll, forecasting, and statutory compliance (BAS/ATO) Working knowledge of loan administration, collections, PPSR, and fixed‑asset management Proven ability to lead and review the work of others while managing personal deliverables Skills & Attributes Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and accuracy under pressure Strong problem‑solving and reconciliation skills Professional communicator capable of collaborating across remote teams and senior management Hands‑on, proactive approach – comfortable stepping into detail when required High integrity and confidentiality with financial data Proficiency in Excel and modern digital collaboration tools Working Environment Remote full‑time position with structured collaboration across Australian operations and international team members Regular daily communication with the finance team and reporting to the Business Strategic Manager Involves participation in weekly collections meetings, monthly reporting cycles, and ad‑hoc strategic sessions Requires structured task tracking, high responsiveness, and strong time‑management discipline Your Daily Tasks Leadership & Oversight Lead, mentor, and review the work of the Finance and Accounting Officer and Finance and Accounts Assistant, ensuring output accuracy and adherence to process Act as the primary financial liaison between the finance team and the Business Strategic Manager Oversee daily financial operations, monitoring deadlines, compliance, and data integrity across all entities Step into operational workstreams as required to ensure deadlines and reporting obligations are met Support the development of new processes, controls, and systems to improve efficiency and accountability Financial Operations Complete and review daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across all operating, loan, and settlement accounts Process or approve accounts payable, receivable, and payroll as required Manage inter‑company reconciliations and ensure balanced ledgers across all entities Review and correct complex entries, ensuring audit readiness and data consistency Maintain oversight of the chart of accounts aligned with group reporting needs Customer Finance & Loan Administration Supervise all customer finance activities – from setup to payout – ensuring alignment of payment schedules, loan documentation, and system data Approve complex or high‑value changes to payment arrangements, early payouts, and cancellations Oversee and perform PPSR registrations and discharges when required Validate the Master Loans spreadsheet, confirming reconciliation with Xero and CRM data Liaise with partner banks, dealerships, and internal teams on loan documentation and deposits Reporting, Forecasting & Compliance Prepare and review monthly management reports including cash‑flow summaries, P&L, and variance analyses Develop forecasts and financial models for income projections, expenditure, and loan performance Support BAS lodgement and ensure compliance with all ATO and statutory requirements Prepare documentation for end‑of‑month and end‑of‑year reporting Support audits and provide insights based on financial data and variance trends Collections & Cash‑Flow Management Oversee and manage the collections process, ensuring active follow‑up on overdue accounts Lead weekly collections meetings and maintain accurate trackers Process or delegate dishonour fees and recovery adjustments, ensuring coordination with operations teams Provide real‑time visibility on cash flow, debtors, and financial exposure Systems, Process & Continuous Improvement Manage integration and performance of Xero, Zoho CRM, and all financial platforms Identify automation opportunities and improve process accuracy Maintain fixed‑asset registers and capital allocation records Collaborate with teams to align financial systems with operational needs Cross‑Functional & Strategic Support Provide updates and recommendations to the Business Strategic Manager regarding financial trends and risks Support strategic decision‑making
