Product Manager for Data

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for Data & Analytics to manage and oversee the organization’s portfolio of data & analytics technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple Data & Analytics products, and other industry-leading solutions. This individual will be responsible for optimizing the performance and effectiveness of the data & analytics products, ensuring that the organization’s data & analytics products are scalable, and efficient. The Product Manager for Data & Analytics will be expected to provide strategic oversight, drive continuous improvement, and work closely with cross-functional teams to align data & analytics with business needs. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, project management, and vendor management skills to ensure successful delivery and operation of data & analytics products. JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for all data and analytics initiatives. Prioritize projects based on business value, resource availability, and strategic alignment. Conduct feasibility studies and business case analyses for new project proposals. Oversee the execution, monitoring, and control of all projects within the portfolio. Manage portfolio-level budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency. Identify and mitigate risks across multiple projects to ensure successful delivery. Develop and present comprehensive reports and dashboards on portfolio performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between technical data teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into data requirements. Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to all relevant parties. Mentor and guide project managers and business analysts to improve project delivery capabilities. Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture across the organization. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Certifications such as Data Analytics Bootcamp Specialization , Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate , Product Analytics Certification are highly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics , with a focus on portfolio management and experience with leading and various Data Analytics products, or similar technologies. Proven experience in managing Data Analytics technologies across large-scale enterprise environments. Strong experience in vendor management , including working with multiple network and security product vendors to ensure SLAs and product effectiveness. Solid understanding of Data Analytics principles and expertise in various Data Analytics technologies. Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience in managing complex technical projects. Knowledge of Tableau Desktop , Microsoft Power BI Data , and modern Data Analytics frameworks. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in high-stakes or urgent situations.
