Product Manager for Data

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced
Product Manager for Data & Analytics
to manage and oversee the organization's portfolio of data & analytics technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple Data & Analytics products, and other industry-leading solutions. This individual will be responsible for optimizing the performance and effectiveness of the data & analytics products, ensuring that the organization's data & analytics products are scalable, and efficient.

The
Product Manager for Data & Analytics
will be expected to provide strategic oversight, drive continuous improvement, and work closely with cross-functional teams to align data & analytics with business needs. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, project management, and vendor management skills to ensure successful delivery and operation of data & analytics products.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product Manager Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for all data and analytics initiatives.
• Prioritize projects based on business value, resource availability, and strategic alignment.
• Conduct feasibility studies and business case analyses for new project proposals.
• Product Manager Oversight & Management:
• Oversee the execution, monitoring, and control of all projects within the portfolio.
• Manage portfolio-level budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate risks across multiple projects to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and present comprehensive reports and dashboards on portfolio performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
• Act as the primary liaison between technical data teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into data requirements.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to all relevant parties.
• Mentor and guide project managers and business analysts to improve project delivery capabilities.
• Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture across the organization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Relevant professional certifications such as
  Project Management Professional (PMP)
  ,
  Program Management Professional (PgMP)
  , or
  SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  are highly preferred.
• A minimum of
  7-10 years
  of experience in project or program management.
• At least
  3-5 years
  of experience specifically managing data, business intelligence, or analytics projects.
• Proven experience in managing project portfolios with multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Ability to connect data initiatives to business strategy and organizational goals.
• Strong understanding of data ecosystems, including BI tools, data warehousing, and AI/ML concepts.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial forecasting for large-scale projects.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Must be willing to work on-site & amenable to travel to BGC
• Preferably someone who can start as soon as possible but not a requirement
