As a Scrum Master, you are aDelivery manager, project manager, then Agile methodologies it should state scrum master, ie “have you lead any scrum teams?” so would someone looking after a team of 4-5 people (usually developers and a QC) to ensure every 2 week sprint has tasks activities assigned and tracking to the end delivery of that sprint. As a person who leads by example, champions’ innovation and quality and knows how to deliver. You will be responsible for: Facilitate the delivery of working software from concept to live using Agile methodologies Help align business goals with release plans to ensure timely delivery of features Fostering collaboration among teams and protect the team from external influences or distractions Arrange and lead agile ceremonies, daily scrum, sprint planning, refinement sessions, discovery sessions, sprint demo and retrospectives Challenge the team to improve on processes and inspire them to find new better ways of working Help identify and mitigate delivery risks Drive, track and communicate the progress of sprints and releases through team velocity and burn down charts To be successful in this role, you must possess the following: Strong practical experience and understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, XP, BDD and TDD Spent 2 / 3 years working as a true Scrum Master Having worked in teams delivering complex projects on time and schedule, resolving problems at the team and organization level Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience managing stakeholder and teams Experienced in estimation techniques and planning for software development projects Experience in effectively collaborating with wider non-agile teams Stakeholder management with statistics around tasks, backlog tracking, and burn down metrics, velocity, and user stories etc. Demonstrable ability to self-manage, be proactive, take ownership, build relationships and drive solutions through from inception to production Personal Qualities: Great, positive attitude, social personality and a true team player Ability to work independently and without supervision Problem-solving aptitude Influence and champion new ideas and methods Methodical and with attention to detail The role will work onsite at our Manila office in BGC and work within Australian/US Time Zone.
