What will your job look like?

• You will provide technical leadership to software engineers by coaching and mentoring throughout end-to-end software development, maintenance, and lifecycle to achieve project goals to the required level of quality; promote team engagement and motivation.
• Provide recommendations to the software engineering manager for estimates, resource needs, breakthroughs and risks; ensure effective delegation, supervising tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and critical issues.
• Hands-on technical and functional mentorship to design, maintenance, build, integration and testing of sophisticated software components according to functional and technical design specifications; follow software development methodologies and release processes.
• You will analyze and report the requirements and provide impact assessment for new features or bug fixes. Make high-level design and establish technical standards.
• You will implement quality processes (such as performing technical root cause analysis and outlining corrective action for given problems), measure them and take corrective actions in case of variances and ensure all the project agreed work are completed to the required level of quality.

All you need is :

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent
• 5-8 years of proven experience in a software engineering role
• Significant proficiency/in-depth knowledge in the BSS (Ordering, CRM, Billing, Partner management, Mediation, Document Designer, Charging) domain (technology and/or products)
• 1-2 years of experience in leading tasks and/or mentoring engineers
• Thorough understanding of software development and/or support methodologies, principles and procedures and related software management tools
• Knowledge in the BSS domain (technology and Amdocs products - Ordering, CRM, Billing, Partner Management, Mediation, Document Designer, Charging)

Job overview : An Agile Coach is responsible for encouraging the team, enabling them to adopt and improve Agile methodologies in solving problems, managing projects, and cultivating individuals’ growth.

Key responsibilities

• Scrum Master and Team Coaching: Guide and mentor Scrum Masters in effectively fulfilling their roles. Coach the Development Team and Product Owner on Agile principles, practices, and values to deliver valuable products that delight customers. Foster self-organization within the Scrum Team and Development Team, empowering them to manage their work and optimize their processes. Assess the scrum maturity of the team and organization, guiding them towards continuous improvement at a sustainable pace.
• Impediment removal and problem-solving: Facilitate the identification and removal of roadblocks hindering team progress, potentially by connecting them with the right resources. Cultivate a safe and trusting environment where team members can openly discuss problems and collaborate on solutions without fear of blame.
• Agile facilitation and communication: Guide discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and synchronize activities between Scrum Teams. Champion transparency by improving internal and external communication, ensuring information flow across stakeholders.
• Product management and backlog refinement: Support and coach the Product Owner, particularly in refining and managing the product backlog.
• Agile transformation and support: Lead the organization’s Agile transformation by aligning processes, metrics, and practices across Scrum Teams. Facilitate Tribe-level retrospectives and review Tribe throughput to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Education – Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance or related
• At least 5 years of Scrum Master experience and 1-2 years as Agile Coach with exposure to scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
• Proven experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams and individuals in cross-functional environments
• Knowledge of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Understanding of SDLC; strong Project, Resource, Financial, Governance & Risk management knowledge
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and iterative planning skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; leadership and accountability within teams
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and drive continuous improvement
• Passion for new consumer technology and the mobile landscape
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
