Job Summary: The Procurement Engineering assigned to oversee and manage the daily operations of the Purchasing Department. The role ensures that all purchasing activities are performed efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in compliance with company standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and guide Purchasing staff in sourcing materials, equipment, and services. Review and approve purchase requests, canvass results, and supplier quotations prior to final approval of the Manager. Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (PO) and proper coordination with suppliers for on‑time delivery. Monitor and track procurement schedules to support project timelines. Coordinate with Engineering, Logistics, and Site Teams for material requirements and delivery updates. Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, pricing, and reliability. Maintain organized documentation of RFQs, tabulations, PO logs, and supplier records. Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and policies. Assist in negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings. Prepare procurement reports, material status updates, and weekly monitoring sheets. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. (PRC Licensed required) At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or engineering industry or construction site. Strong leadership and decision‑making skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and QuickBooks.
