What does an HR Generalist really do? Think of yourself as the primary person in charge of taking care of employees. You’ll handle employee or labor relations, conduct background checks, administer HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave, discipline, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, health and safety, training and development, and more. As a HR Generalist, You Will Handle due process documents and proceedings such as admin hearings. Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Perform routine tasks to administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, safety, and training and development. Handle employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive matters to appropriate staff. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies to ensure compliance. Maintain knowledge of HR best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time‑management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment‑related laws and regulations. BPO background and experience is a plus.
