We are in search of an experienced Data Strategist who will be responsible for driving the development and execution of RUSH’s long-term strategic initiatives. This role plays a critical part in shaping the company\'s direction, particularly in the fast-evolving tech industry. The manager works cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to design and implement strategies that align with RUSH’s growth objectives while reinforcing its core business capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, and operational effectiveness, as well as identifying opportunities and potential risks. The role involves synthesizing insights from internal and market data to formulate actionable, forward-looking plans that support sustainable competitive advantage.

To be effective, the Data Strategist must demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and functions.

Basic Qualifications Academic Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Industrial Management, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or any related field.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategy-related roles within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
• An equivalent of the same working experience is also acceptable for the position

Communication Skills

• Demonstrates strong communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly convey information, insights, and strategic directives across various levels of the organization.
• Effective communication is critical to ensuring alignment, driving execution, and enabling the successful implementation of business strategies.

Analytical Skills

• Has an ability to translate raw information into actionable initiatives
• Can perform standard reviews such as, but not limited to: performance, competitive, and market analyses.
• Is results-driven with exceptional problem-solving skills

Interpersonal Skills

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail
• Is high-energy, has a positive attitude, a proactive nature and a can-do attitude
• Has the capacity to comfortably work in a group
• Able to work effectively both as an individual contributor and within cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Brings together crucial pieces of information such as competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, markets, etc. from various internal and external sources in order to develop strategic options.

Strategic Planning

• Drive the corporate plan by supporting key planning and budgeting activities across the business.
• Establishes and reviews key strategic priorities and translates them into actionable and quantitative plans.
• Ensures that the planning process highlights business issues and makes sure that these issues are thoroughly addressed by the laid-out plans.
• Provide high-level Profit and Loss insights to management, highlighting opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Manages analyses that will provide valuable benchmarking for management as well as timely insights to various departments.
• Reviews long-term market trends for the purpose of providing recommendations to leadership and management, across various aspects such as business development, product and technology enhancements, as well as operation optimizations.
