About the job SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor Job Responsibilities 5+ years hands on experience in Network engineering Proven incident and problem solving (troubleshooting) skills with an emphasis on a timely and accurate resolution. Leads network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software and integration testing, as well as coordinating these activities without disturbing function of other systems. Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with teammates, managers and clients to maintain high service levels in a demanding environment. Leads in the development and production of complex documentation for installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of communications hardware or software. Ability to learn very quickly in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Job Requirements Solid background in network administration and architecture At least two years of working knowledge of any SDWAN Technologies Nice to have prior SASE experience. Experience with security compliance standards such as PCI, HIPAA, etc In-depth understanding of routing protocols (e.g. BGP, EIGRP & OSPF) Minimum active CCNP Routing & Switching certification, CCIE preferred Solid understanding of network operating systems Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools Supporting in rotations shifts and 24/7 on call support Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills Ability to work well in a team environment. Analyzing requirements, designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise monitoring tools and the supporting infrastructure. Developing and implementing custom Solarwinds dashboards and alerts to meet the requirements of the application teams, customers and other support teams. Defining, creating, and maintaining processes required to monitor customer environments to ensure a proactive approach for addressing alerts or problems. Developing standard operating procedures and user guides for the enterprise monitoring solutions. Identifying and developing ways to improve and automate monitoring to gain operational efficiencies and improve responsiveness.
