Senior Azure System Engineer - Public Cloud I Hybrid (3x a week Onsite) I BGC

Eastvantage Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior System Engineer – Azure to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and system administration. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud-based solutions, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, App Services, Azure Functions, etc.).
  • Configure and manage Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Network, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like ARM Templates, Bicep, PowerShell, or Terraform.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Implement security best practices including RBAC, NSGs, firewalls, and identity governance.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support deployment and integration activities.
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in system engineering, with at least 3 years working with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, architecture, and best practices.
  • Experience with automation tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.).
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Experience with Linux in a cloud environment.
