Reinsurance Business Analyst, Asia Reinsurance

Overview Position: Reinsurance Business Analyst, Asia Reinsurance at Manulife. Location: Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines. Working arrangement: Hybrid (3x a week onsite). The role is part of the Global Reinsurance team within the MBPS Actuarial Function and is responsible for handling policy maintenance and requests for death claim reimbursement of reinsured policies. Global Reinsurance supports Asia, Canada, and the U.S., from mail indexing to disbursements back-office transactions. Responsibilities Provide support for business projects, working independently on small projects and supporting larger projects to meet time and quality targets. Support workflow analysis, define user requirements. Prepare, maintain, and update procedures and comprehensive documentation for the administrative processes developed/implemented. Prepare training materials and provide training on a one-on-one basis. Identify and resolve operational issues quickly. Understand all aspects of supporting development projects. Estimate time to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Balance operational and project assignments. Keep abreast of changing business needs and manage multiple demands and priorities. Knowledge and understanding of project management methodology and workflow design. Convey information clearly and effectively through verbal and written communication. Show good organization, problem-solving, and analytical abilities; work well independently or in a team as the situation dictates. We Are Looking For Someone With 1 to 2 years of demonstrated experience in developing business requirements. Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Senior Business Analyst role. Ability to conduct interviews to determine business needs and specifications. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills to gain support for new initiatives while building relationships with business units. Good knowledge and prior experience in user acceptance testing of small projects. Amenable to work at UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City). Amenable to work on a hybrid setup (3x a week onsite).
