We are seeking a dedicated
Speech & Language Therapist

Job Description- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (teachers, therapists, parents) to assess, plan, and provide therapeutic interventions that support students' access to the general education curriculum.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized plans (IETPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that the speech therapy services are aligned with their educational goals.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based methods to improve communication skills.
- Utilize various techniques and tools (e.g., visual supports, AAC devices, play-based therapy) to support language development.
- Work with students on developing skills for communication, both verbal and non-verbal, through structured interventions and naturalistic teaching.
- Create individualized therapy programs tailored to each student's needs, addressing areas such as speech production, language comprehension, social communication, fluency, voice, and more.
- Offer training and resources to parents and educators to facilitate the implementation of strategies that support students both inside and outside the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, interventions, and required paperwork (e.g., IETPs, progress reports).
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices, new therapeutic techniques, and educational trends.

We are searching for a flexible, resourceful speech therapist to join our team.
The speech therapist's responsibilities include performing patient assessments,
developing individual treatment plans, liaising with teachers, family members,
and other healthcare professionals, administering therapy and monitoring
progress, and ensuring patients and their families are informed of new
treatments and therapy techniques. You should also be able to work with
patients from different backgrounds and be willing to make house calls.
To be successful as a speech therapist, you should be passionate about social and
biological science, language, and human anatomy. Exceptional Speech Therapists
are caring, adaptable, and able to use available resources to find solutions.
Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
Communicating with the patient, and liaising with their family members, physicians, and teachers to design effective treatment plans.
Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.
Keeping up to date with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and expanding professional and academic networks.
Taking detailed notes on patient history and progress.
Providing mentoring and workshops to speech therapy students.
Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.
Speech Therapist Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in speech-language
Therapist
Experience with certain conditions or working with specific age groups may be preferred.
Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases.
Relevant license and certification.
Experience with certain disorders and age groups may be required.
Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.
Familiarity with database management software.
Excellent relationship-building skills.
Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills.
