Responsible for assisting the Vice President for Corporate Planning and Strategy to conduct and facilitate macro-level planning sessions with key SCMC and SMPH stakeholders to help arrive at corporate strategies in support of business objectives defined in terms but not limited to occupancy, revenue growth, net income growth and overall improvement of efficiencies. Analyze the business’s internal and external capabilities and resources than can be taken advantage of to lay-out programs that will drive improvement towards company objectives.

STRATEGIC PLANNING & SPECIAL PROJECTS
  • Assist the VP-Corporate Planning and SCMC stakeholders in the development of corporate strategies in support of business objectives and ensure alignment with the divisional/departmental objectives; and to explore opportunities for growth
  • Conduct and facilitate annual macro-level planning session
  • Review and update plans on a periodic basis with the stakeholders to reflect most recent Management directions and industry development
RESEARCH, DATA GATHERING AND ANALYSIS
  • Keep abreast of latest developments in the industry and competition, including global and local trends and study on special projects that may be an opportunity for SCMC
  • Analyze financial and business performance of SCMC
  • Identify possible financial and business strategies to drive attainment of business objectives which include occupancy, revenue growth, and net income growth
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
  • Encompasses the tasks of recruitment, management, and providing ongoing support and direction to all the employees within the team. These tasks includes compensation, hiring, performance management, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training for overall talent development and for the best interest of the company.
  • Participates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in any training program development and/or implementation, which requires the specific technical and/or soft skills of the job to contribute in the development of talents within the organization
Qualifications
  • At least 5 managerial years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably with Master’s Degree (Preferred degree in Business, Economics, Market Research and Finance)
