Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician

Job Description Language Xchange Ireland are seeking a Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician 10+ hours per week on a Specific Purpose Contract. The Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician will be responsible for building an e-commerce retail platform to create awareness through to conversion of LXI’s suite of language learning and work placement programmes in Ireland. This is a remote working position, where you will be working remotely from the Philippines. LXI will not be sponsoring work permits to work in Ireland for this position. The Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician will collaborate with the Managing Director on the development and implementation of an AI Program e-commerce retail platform specific to the German, Swiss and Austrian markets. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience working on AI, having built an e-commerce platform at 'Agent & Agentic AI' level. The Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician will be passionate about AI applications development, and will continually keep abreast of AI software and hardware trends and innovations. Responsibilities of the Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician will include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with the Managing Director to understand requirements and to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs, delivers business value, and enhances the customer experience on an e-commerce platform; Implement a CRM using AI that will unify sales, service, and marketing functions to provide a single, integrated view of the customer, analysing data, enhancing sales forecasting, and improving customer satisfaction; Liaise with the Managing Director to design and implement both automated and scheduled campaign workflows; Create and implement automated service solutions that deliver 24/7 support to clients; Ensure data is managed in an ethical and secure manner whilst adhering to safeguarding frameworks such as GDPR on the e-commerce retail system; Ensure that LXI is fully compliant with and prepared for the EU AI Act which comes into effect in August 2026; Implement robust industry security standards for the protection of LXI and its clients, preventing potential cyber attacks and thus ensuring the integrity of LXI and it’s systems; Debugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work; Any other ad-hoc duties, as directed by the Managing Director. Reporting Arrangement and working relationships: The Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician will collaborate directly with the Managing Director. Term & Work Pattern: The is a Specific Purpose Contract to implement an AI Program e-commerce retail system, specific to the German, Swiss and Austrian markets; 10+ hours per week; The Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician will work remotely from the Philippines, they will not be working in Ireland; The Freelance AI e-Commerce Technician will work to a schedule outlined on our 'Monday Project Mgt.' App and individual program requirements; Some flexibility to work additional days/hours is also required, upon the request of the Managing Director. Pay & Benefits: This is a freelance position whereby you will invoice LXI. Rates will be commission based on end sales and will be discussed at interview. Location: This is a remote working position. The successful candidate will work remotely from the Philippines. LXI will not be sponsoring work permits to work in Ireland for this position. Job Qualifications Required Skills & Experience: 3-5 years demonstrated experience in CRM production and e-Commerce role/s. LXI will be requesting current examples of work with clients demonstrating your experience in building e-commerce platforms, along with full reference checks in advance of interview; Proven experience in some/most/ a keen interest in AI Stacks, such as Chat GPT, Gemini, Lovable, Clod Code, Cursor AI, N8N, Intercom, Blotato, Canva, Gemini, Google AI Studio, Microsoft365 Copilot, Stripe (payments tools) is essential; Demonstrated experience working on AI, having built an e-commerce platform at 'Agent & Agentic AI' level is essential; Knowledge in building e-commerce retail platforms with built-in optimisation for AI search; Strong programming skills with tools like Python, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Django and/or other e-commerce platform tools; Expertise in data analytics, machine learning, CRM integration, and cloud computing and SEO; Experience in machine learning, data integration, and AI model management; Proven CRM development and maintenance and support experience; Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and business awareness. A drive for continuous learning and keeping up with the latest AI advancements; Ability to prioritise workload and to meet deadlines; Attention to detail and ability to focus on task at hand; Self motivated, takes initiative and has ability to work independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
