Job Overview

The Finance Associate will support the finance department by managing financial operations, including receivables, payables, payroll, and generating finance reports. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or someone with up to 1 year of experience in finance or accounting. The Finance Associate will collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and efficient financial processes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the company’s accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with internal policies and tax regulations.
  • Prepare and assist with financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal financial queries and collaborate with other departments as needed.
  • Analyze financial data and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Suggest improvements for financial processes and help streamline operations.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing, tax compliance, and bookkeeping principles.
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
