Schedule: Follows North American business hours About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cash Application Specialist to lead daily cash application operations and provide oversight, mentoring, and process excellence to the team. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant posting of payments while driving continuous improvement and supporting cross‑functional collaboration within Finance. Duties and responsibilities: Supervise and support the daily tasks of the Cash Applications team Lead weekly payment application reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team regarding unapplied cash and remittances Ensure accurate and timely application of collections to customer accounts Update and maintain complex customer payment relationships within ERP systems Assist the Accounting team with suspense and clearing account reconciliations Review, analyze, and post payments in compliance with accounting standards Oversee and approve monthly small balance write‑offs Document procedures and train new team members on cash application processes Provide mentorship and coaching to develop team capabilities Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and partners to improve efficiencies Identify, recommend, and support process improvements and automation opportunities Participate in special projects as assigned Qualifications Post‑secondary degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or Accounting roles Strong cash application and reconciliation expertise Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is an advantage) Excellent customer service, planning, and time management skills Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; able to partner across teams effectively Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines Experience in training, mentoring, or team leadership is a strong asset System requirements: Computer Processor: Intel 8th generation or newer / AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer Memory/RAM: 16 GB Computer OS: Windows 11 and future enterprise operating systems Storage: 500 GB SSD Primary Internet Connection: must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 5 Mbps for backup connection) Microsoft Office License Open communication and dedication is ourkey to driving success for your business-wherever you are in the world. #J-18808-Ljbffr
