What You’ll Do
The Agent Success & Training Specialist supports Olympus’ mission to deliver exceptional service to our agency partners by providing training, education, and development opportunities. This role is responsible for designing and delivering training programs for newly appointed agencies, facilitating ongoing webinars, developing educational tools, and serving as a highly visible representative of Olympus. Reporting to the Vice President of Underwriting, the Agency Training Specialist works closely with Agency Experience, Sales & Marketing, and Underwriting to ensure agents are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to successfully represent Olympus products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person and virtual training for newly appointed agencies on Olympus products, systems, and underwriting guidelines.
- Host engaging educational webinars to enhance agent knowledge.
- Create clear, effective training tools like underwriting bulletins and how-to guides.
- Coordinate logistics and materials for all training sessions.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with agency partners and internal teams.
- Update training materials based on business or system changes.
- Represent Olympus at agency visits and training events (some travel required).
- 4+ years of experience in insurance, learning & development, marketing, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education, Business, Communications, or related insurance field). Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Training facilitation and public speaking experience.
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for agency training.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication - including camera presence.
- Engaging presentation and classroom facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, and training design tools.
- Excellent time management, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
- Adaptability, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit.
