Overview

Paralegal (Senior) role at MicroSourcing. Location: Libis, Quezon City. Work setup: Onsite | Night Shift (US hours).

Responsibilities
  • Draft legal pleadings and other legal documents.
  • Review court rules and apply them to assignments.
  • Analyze and synthesize documents.
  • Organize and maintain the litigation calendar.
  • Schedule client meetings, hearings, and deadlines.
  • Screens calls, takes messages, and informs attorneys of urgent messages.
  • Assemble, organize, prepare, proofread, and edit documents.
  • Profile documents to document management system.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client/attorney information.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm setting.
  • Litigation Experience: Multi-jurisdictional federal litigation experience (e.g., USDC and USCA).
  • Case Management: Strong knowledge of case management through all stages of litigation, including court rules, practices, and procedures.
  • Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with ECF/Pacer and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other web-based applications.
  • Core Skills: Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents; strong writing skills for drafting pleadings; working knowledge of the discovery process.

Preferred Skills/Expertise

  • Paralegal Certificate (preferred).
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents; familiarity with ECF/Pacer.

  • Proficient at scheduling, docketing, and court e-filing.
