Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Legal Department in a broad range of matters including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and corporate governance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping a mission-driven company grow responsibly.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and manage a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements, employee agreements.
- Assist with corporate governance tasks, including maintaining company records, preparing board resolutions, and filing annual reports.
- Support intellectual property management, including trademark and patent filings, renewals, and monitoring.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for the Legal team.
- Help ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., consumer protection, privacy laws, e-commerce regulations).
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, HR, Management) to provide timely legal support.
- Manage and organize legal files, databases, and document management systems.
- Liaise with outside counsel and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate with Paralegal experience
- 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal department.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management tools.
- Experience in consumer products, e-commerce, or health & wellness industries, visa submission.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations
