Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for maintaining a positive, fair, and productive workplace by addressing employee concerns, promoting open communication, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Responsibilities Draft acceptance letters and prepare employment contracts for contractual, probationary, and regular employees. Conduct monthly employee performance evaluations and produce final assessment reports for all employees. Handle employee resignations and related documentation. Manage complaints, grievances, and employee-related conflicts in accordance with the company’s established process flow, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions as appropriate. Prepare resolutions and interventions for employee-related conflicts. Issue and serve memorandums, correspondences, and termination contracts. Ensure proper handling of the complaints and grievances procedure. Promote a culture of respect, transparency, and collaboration. Assist in developing, updating, and implementing employee handbooks, codes of conduct, and other HR policies. Compile, maintain, and update all employee records, reports, and documents—both soft and hard copy—in an organized, confidential, and accessible manner, including system‑ready digital files and the department’s official Google Sheets portal, with appropriate backups for data security and accuracy. Submit weekly and monthly reports in accordance with the company's standard report content. Perform other duties and functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior and/or management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, or labor relations. Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict‑resolution, and analytical skills. Has an eye for details, is organized, and with excellent communication skills (Verbal and written). Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
