Overview

Responsible for supporting and conducting strategic negotiation events for Strategic Sourcing group.

Build and create relationships with internal clients to understand their contracting needs.

Negotiate business terms with vendors and partners (large and small), to minimize risk and maximize price efficiencies.

Solid understanding of a wide array of contract forms - MNDA, MSA & SOW's

Liaise with the Legal and Security departments to ensure all contract controls and protections are in place.

Establish relationships and lead Stakeholders / cross-functional teams to get process buy-in.

Create Strategic Sourcing partnerships in order to increase addressable spend.

Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution.

Use and evaluate eSourcing tools and new technologies.

Become a category expert, developing category playbooks and roadmaps to enhance strategic negotiations, participating in spend analytics and work planning efforts.

Utilize project management practices and tools to create, manage and report on small to multimillion-dollar project progress.

Design/development/ Weekly and monthly operations matrix reports includes spend /SLAs.

Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution.

BS Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)

Qualifications
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar position: Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office package, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people
