On-call IV Infusion Nurse

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and administering therapeutic IV treatments and infusions
  • Developing care plans for the consistent clients
  • Educating patients and caregivers
  • Managing complications with infusion therapies
  • Monitoring patient responses to treatment
  • Performing patient assessments
  • Reviewing lab reports and drug information
  • Create and maintain positive customer relations for home infusion and other in-home services programs
  • Provide direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, or alternate living site (transpo service is provided)
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks as required by the company
Qualifications
  • Strong venous access skills must be able to access peripheral veins
  • Previous home infusion experience is strongly preferred
  • Nursing Degree, BSN preferred
  • 2-5 Years of relevant working experience
  • Preferred work of 3 years providing patient care in an ambulatory health care environment
  • Must possess strong patient care skills participative and team-building management skills
  • Hardworking and persevering
  • Collaborative and has Initiative
  • Resourcefulness
  • Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Sharp time management skills
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage clients personal needs and conditions as well as the company’s
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong client customer service
