Overview

Lead day-to-day controllership, treasury, and statutory compliance across JV companies (OFW/Seafarer lending; motorcycle financing; microfinance and jewelry). Own the monthly close, schedules, and financial statement integrity; ensure timely disbursements and complete collections posting; and drive a strong control environment. Partner with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) on funding, risk, and performance to enable disciplined growth.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day controllership, treasury, and statutory compliance across JV companies. Own the monthly close, schedules, and financial statement integrity; ensure timely disbursements and complete collections posting; and drive a strong control environment. Partner with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) on funding, risk, and performance to enable disciplined growth.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience in financial reporting and month-end closing
  • Treasury and Cash Management
  • Disbursements and Accounts Payable
  • Collections and Accounts Receivables
  • Loan Operations and AR Integrity
  • PH Tax and Regulatory Compliance
  • Controls, Audit, and Policy with Automations expertise and Dashboard-creation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA REQUIRED.
  • Experience in Joint Ventures (JV), highly preferred.
  • Tech savvy, data driven, expertise in advanced excel, highly preferred
  • at least 5+ years in controllership/treasury/reporting, preferably in lending/financing or financial services, retail, service industries
  • Strong command in Accounting, PH tax & regulatory (BIR returns, GRT, DST, SEC submissions).
  • Hands-on with LOS/SOFIA (or equivalent), accounting systems, bank portals; advanced Excel/Sheets; BI/reporting tools a plus.
  • Proven people leadership with lean teams; audit and close acceleration experience.
