Apply to start the initial screening process and get hired faster Responsibilities Lead and manage the general accounting functions, including overseeing the maintenance of accurate financial records, account reconciliations, and the preparation of journal entries. Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Oversee and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Conduct detailed account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly and efficiently. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing comprehensive financial data, analysis, and recommendations. Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights to auditors. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures, promoting best practices and ensuring strong internal controls. Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions. Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, with a background in a large accounting firm. Extensive understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to supervise and develop staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
