This role involves the reconciliation of Cash, Securities, Bullion, and Funds. In This Role, You Will Perform reconciliation tasks on cash balances, security / bullion movements and holdings positions either using system tools or manually including the identification, assignment, and follow‑up/investigation of breaks per approved escalation matrix Perform controls as checker in the process and resolve escalations / more technically complex situations that may arise Conduct user acceptance test before the launch of new products / systems or strategic initiatives Contribute proactively to the improvement of operational efficiency and quality of work within the team Provide the required support to BRCS management and staff in resolving process issues within expertise area Improve efficiency in the process by identifying and implementing sustainable saves. Effectively liaise with the BP to resolve process issues and propose process improvements Ensures that all processing activities comply with all relevant Bank policies, procedures, GSM, FIM and DIM and that process risks are effectively addressed To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Able to work within tight deadlines, and with multiple and simultaneous process concerns Excellent attention to detail Excellent numerical abilities Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Experienced in performing reconciliation of Cash, Securities & Funds Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the underlying reconciliation products, operations processes and procedures Prior experience in people and team management HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
