Responsibilities- Process supplier invoices and credits accurately and timely in the ERP system; ensure proper coding to GL accounts or client/matter numbers.
- Validate PO information, resolve invoice discrepancies, and perform supplier reconciliations as needed.
- Process payments and payment runs; respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Assist with month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting; support internal and external audits with requested data.
- Maintain online filing and document control for Accounts Payable records; ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX where applicable.
- Prepare and analyze AP-related reports; participate in process improvement initiatives and system migrations or changes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and regional offices; adapt to different time zones and working arrangements (including hybrid or night-shift setups as required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent qualifications).
- 3–5 years (or 1–2 years in some postings) of accounts payable, finance, or administration experience; exposure to large organizations or BPO/shared services is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, PeopleSoft) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of tax concepts and compliance requirements applicable to AP and cross-border payments; familiarity with VAT/GST or local taxes as relevant to the role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and auditors.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision; willingness to work rotating shifts and weekend support if needed.
- For Manila/Tampa and regional roles: experience with AP, P2P, and auditing support; familiarity with FMIS/ERP; CPA/CMA qualifications desirable but not always required.
- For Convergint and SEA-region roles: experience in AP across multiple countries, with regional finance compliance knowledge; ability to coordinate with multi-country teams and manage cross-border requirements.
