Mentor, coach, and guide to drive engagement, performance, and development of direct reports; manage conflicts and performance issues professionally. Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner; reconcile supplier statements to AP ledgers and month-end balances; assist with incoming supplier enquiries. Collaborate with the AP team to manage invoices workflow through AP’s automated system; identify and explain variances between invoices and purchase orders; reduce invoice discrepancies. Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and purchase price agreements; Monitor and utilize supplier payment discounts; liaise with domestic and international suppliers to resolve invoicing discrepancies and follow up on credits. Aid cross-training to optimize team performance and meet business deadlines. Contribute to development, review, modification, and improvement of AP processes and procedures, including proposing new strategies and systems; coordinate internal and external audits as needed. Support corporate finance in continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes; ensure adherence to company policy, controls, and procedures. Act as point of escalation for vendor issues and internal inquiries related to payables; build and maintain relationships with procurement and other departments; manage vendor master data with stakeholders. Prepare and analyze AP-related reports (e.g., DPO aging, GR/IR, variances); provide insights on trends to support management decisions; assist budgeting and forecasting as needed. Other ad hoc duties as required. Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory role, preferably in a BPO or similar environment. Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, and accounting principles; proficient in ERP systems and AP automation. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; experience with process improvement initiatives.
