Requirements We are looking for a FINANCIAL EXTERNAL AUDITOR that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes. Mission To deliver precise and timely statutory audits that ensure financial transparency and compliance with Hong Kong's standards, while building trust through clear, prompt communication. We are dedicated to fostering lasting client relationships, empowering informed decisions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and integrity. Outcomes Deliver all assigned audit engagements within agreed timelines and deadlines Prepare accurate and complete audit documentation in line with HKSAs and firm quality standards, with minimal supervision Communicate effectively and promptly with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and explain audit findings Collaborate with team leaders and other departments to facilitate smooth audit processes Qualifications Deliver assigned audit engagements efficiently and within agreed timelines and deadlines Plan and execute audit procedures in compliance with HKSAs and relevant regulatory requirements Assess internal controls, identify risks, and test key processes to evaluate financial accuracy and compliance Prepare and review audit documentation with clarity and completeness for quality assurance and compliance Communicate effectively with clients to gather audit evidence, clarify findings, and explain audit processes and outcomes Identify audit findings and control weaknesses, and propose value-adding recommendations Work independently as well as part of a team on multiple client engagements Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills when evaluating complex financial data Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards, especially HKSAs and IFRS Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information To do this, you will have a minimum of 2 years experience as auditor and you will most likely be located in the Philippines. You excel at analysing complex systems and processes to identify weaknesses and inefficiencies, and your ability to evaluate multiple scenarios enables you to devise the best testing strategies. You apply data-driven decisions to enhance testing coverage and performance metrics, ensuring the highest standards of software quality. Collaboration-Driven: You thrive in a cross-functional team environment, working closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to ensure alignment on requirements and testing goals. You communicate effectively, advocate for quality throughout the development process, and proactively address potential issues before they arise, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for delivering exceptional software. The interview process The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages. We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish. Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role. HR Round A :30 minute chat with the member of the hiring team to understand your skills and experience Career deep dive A :60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager. They'll discuss your last 1-2 roles to understand your experience in more detail. Behavioural fit assessment A :60 minute chat with a member of the HR or leadership team, where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work. Offer + reference interviews We'll make a non-binding offer verbally or over email, followed by a couple of short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us.
