Job Title: Controller Supervisor (CND) Work Setup & Schedule: Hybrid (5PM to 2AM) What you'll be doing: Take full ownership of the month-end close process, including: Preparing audit-quality working papers across all balance sheet areas Completing sales reconciliations from Shopify and other Merchants accounts Review the Chart of Accounts (COA) and maintain GL integrity Prepare consolidated financial statements and support management reporting Manage ad hoc financial analysis and respond proactively to unusual variances Review and oversee the work of a junior accountant (e.g., prepaids, bank recs) Continue supporting client at reduced capacity (e.g., 20–25 hours/week) Take on fractional controller work for additional clients, including: Preparation of financial statements Full-cycle controllership and streamlined reconciliations Support cash flow reporting, treasury processes, and process improvements across multiple businesses Lead working paper standardization and continuous month-end improvements What will make you a great fit: 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience Demonstrated stability and commitment in previous roles Strong hands-on ability with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel Ability to work independently, flag issues early, and recommend process improvements Available to work full-time with partial overlap to Eastern Standard Time (Toronto) (for example 9am to 2pm EST) Excellent business-level English communication skills, written and verbal Experience with Google Drive, Google Sheets, Slack, Asana CPA (Philippines) designation Exposure to working with eCommerce platforms 2–3 years working at a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm What D&V Philippines can offer you: D&V Philippines is a place where you can build and grow your career because we invest in your training and development.
