Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Inside Sales Executive to join our sales team in the shipping and logistics sector. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound inquiries, conducting outbound sales outreach, and supporting the external sales team with lead qualification and client engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Communicate with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and follow up on sales leads.
  • Understand customer's needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • File rates in the system.
  • Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information per email.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand your database of current and potential customers.
  • Team with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals.
  • Explain and demonstrate features of our service to prospects.
  • Stay informed about competing products and services.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Close sales and achieve sales targets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
